Step 1 - Register
This is the best way to use our site, unless you’re just browsing. Anytime you wish to participate in a meaningful activity, wehther it’s buying, selling or simply commenting on items others have posted you’ll need to have an account with before you do so.
This not only minimises malicious activity, but it protects buyers, sellers and all members of our community.
In a Hurry?
If you don’t intend to use our site again and you only have a single item to sell, you can navigate to the Sell Your Item page and as long as you enter a unique email address, w’ell handle the signup process for you in one fell swoop. You still have to submit some information, but you don’t have to register first and then re-enter the same information twice as we’ll automatically sign you up and email you the details after you’ve submitted your listing.
Step 2 – Have a look around
Even if you’re looking to sell, it can be helpful to see how others have listed their products before you dive in. Quite often, items don’t sell because not information is provided, or the images are poorly taken. Pay close attention to the listings you see and then when you’re ready you can start listing.
Step 3 – Sell Your Items
Listing your item is a simple process that starts here: Sell Your Item. We’ll collect all the necessary details to make your listing shine.
Note: All sellers (of firearms) will be required to provide a copy of their firearms license and drivers license prior to listings being authorised.
Don’t have all the info?
Don’t worry, you can enter all or some of the information now and then come back later. There’s no rush, no time limits and we remember everything you entered whether you come back in 5 minutes or 5 days. Just add what you can now and then come back with the rest when you’re ready!
Retailer with multiple items?
As a retailer you have several options.
- Sell individual items – $10.00 per listing.
- Sell multiple items – $25.00 per block of 3 items.
- Open a Store – OzArms Stores allow you to set up your own store within the marketplace where you can customize your own store with branding elements, logos, custom content.

Step 4 – Buy an Item
This is easy! Simply find what you’re after, add it to your cart and place your order. The seller will be notified of your interest and you can then communicate with them to work out the details. While an order does not remove the item from our listings, it will show up as “negotiating” so that others know there’s not much time left before the goods are sold!
